Data Management Officer

We’re looking for a Data Management Officer who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 8 months. 

• This assignment seeks to Improve the efficiency of IRIM’s data management by integrating modern technologies and methods into existing systems for data collection, quality control, and storage
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Qualifications (tertiary degree) in data science, statistics, computer science, information management, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in data management and analysis
• As a volunteer, you will support in building the data analysis capacity of IRIM staff by delivering hands-on training and ongoing support in tools such as R, Stata, and other relevant software to enhance analytical skills and outputs

The volunteer will work closely with IRIM’s data management team to improve key processes across the data lifecycle—from collection and quality control to storage, analysis, and security. By introducing innovative solutions, including the use of AI and other emerging technologies, and by sharing international practices and tools, the volunteer will contribute to making our systems more efficient and future-ready.
