Community Development Mentor

Coral Triangle Center (CTC) is looking for a Community Development Mentor who can volunteer remotely from home for six months. 

• This assignment seeks to support CTC in strengthening its community development (CD) approach within Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and sustainable fisheries through technical guidance, capacity building, strategic planning, and development of tools and frameworks.
• You will be working alongside The CTC team to uphold values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• You will also participate in building partnership opportunities for community development initiatives.

About the partner organisation 

Coral Triangle Center (CTC) is a foundation based in Indonesia with regional scope and global impact. Since 2010, we have worked with communities, governments, the private sector, and partners to strengthen marine resource management and protect coral reef ecosystems across the Coral Triangle. CTC supports on-the-ground conservation in Bali, Maluku and in Timor-Leste, and lead learning networks of women leaders, local government executives and marine protected area practitioners in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Timor-Leste. Our Center for Marine Conservation in Bali serves as a dynamic space for training programs, public outreach, interactive exhibits, and cultural performances, engaging action to protect our oceans and the life they sustain.
