About the partner organisation

Kdei Karuna Organization (KdK) is a locally registered and politically neutral Cambodian NGO dedicated to peacebuilding, social cohesion, and healing from the long-term legacies of the Khmer Rouge period. For more than 15 years, KdK has worked with vulnerable and marginalized communities, including Khmer Rouge survivors, ethnic minorities, women, and young people. KdK’s work is grounded in survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and community-based approaches that promote reconciliation, psychosocial healing, historical memory, and inclusive peacebuilding. A qualified volunteer can contribute specialised experience in communication, fundraising readiness, and capacity strengthening. Through practical support, knowledge sharing, and mentoring, the volunteer will help strengthen communication systems, external visibility, and engagement with partners and networks. The assignment aims to complement existing local capacities and support sustainable institutional development.
