We’re looking for a Communications and Fundraising Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Cambodia.

  • This assignment seeks to support the organization to develop communication plan and strategy, including support in grant proposal writings
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a relevant degree in development studies , Professional training or degree in project management in development sector
  • As a volunteer, you will support Build staff capacity in communication, impact report writing and storytelling

About the Partner Organisation 

Live & Learn Cambodia (LLC), established in 2005, is a local non-profit and non-governmental organization. LLC directly works to support grassroots and local civil society organization and community-based organizations and individual population in remote, rural and urban communities, while builds partnerships with government and other organizations. This assignment is critically important for Live & Learn Cambodia (LLC) as it directly addresses the organization's need to articulate its impact and secure its future. Developing a robust communication plan and strategy will enable LLC to more effectively engage with its diverse stakeholders, from grassroots communities to government partners and international donors. High-quality communication materials, such as impact reports and case studies, are essential tools for demonstrating the value and success of their wide-ranging projects. By strengthening grant proposal writing, this assignment will enhance the organization's ability to secure vital funding, ensuring the continuation and expansion of its work. LLC has hosted multiple Australian volunteers before.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
