We’re looking for a Communication and Resource Mobilisation Support who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Cambodia.

  • This assignment seeks to strengthen strategic communication and storytelling to enhance PAfID’s visibility and impact
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Degree in communications, marketing, international development, business, or a related field 
  • As a volunteer, you will support to improve digital communication and engagement to support outreach and fundraising

About the Partner Organisation 

People’s Action for Inclusive Development (PAfID) is a non-governmental organization focused on disability and inclusive development. PAfID is operating from Phnom Penh as head office and works across Cambodia and internationally to challenge traditional development paradigms by offering locally-led solutions to inclusion issues. An Australian Volunteer will support this assignment by strengthening systems, tools, and staff capacity across both areas. This includes communication strategy, content development, donor engagement materials, proposal development, and fundraising systems. The role focuses on capacity building, co-creation, and mentoring, rather than substituting existing staff.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
