We’re looking for a Clinical Educator-Obstetrics & Maternal-Fetal Medicine who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 12 months.

  • This assignment seeks to Strengthen early diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the Partner Organisation

Khuree Maternity Hospital is a public health facility located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It is one of the country’s leading maternity hospitals and serves as a referral center for maternal and neonatal care. The hospital provides services to a large urban population and patients referred from rural provinces.

Their mission is to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes through evidence-based, patient-centered care. We work with expectant mothers, newborns, and families, and collaborate with the Ministry of Health, academic institutions, and international partners. They provide a wide range of services including antenatal care, delivery, postpartum services, and neonatal intensive care.

While Mongolia has made significant progress in reducing maternal mortality, challenges remain, particularly in the early detection of high-risk pregnancies and congenital anomalies. The hospital is currently working to enhance its capacity in maternal-fetal medicine and aims to reduce preventable deaths and complications by 2030 in line with the government’s national health targets.
