We’re looking for a Blended Learning Curriculum Development Mentor who can live and volunteer for 9 months in Cambodia.
- This assignment seeks to develop blended learning curriculums and modules on Gender, CEDAW and Safeguarding (including Training of Trainers (ToT))
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need an advanced education in any of the fields related to this assignment (e.g. international development, social care, gender studies, education and pedagogy)
- As a volunteer, you will provide coaching support on the development of in-person and online tools, resources and materials for the blended learning modules
About the Partner Organisation
NGO-CEDAW has more than 20 years of experience advocating for gender equality. NGO-CEDAW comprises a coalition of 32 local CSOs dedicated to the advancement of women. NGO-CEDAW’s role is to monitor and promote the implementation of the UN Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in Cambodia. As part of NGO-CEDAW's new Strategic Plan, and in response to requests from our coalition members, we are keen to develop blended learning curriculums & modules to support the capacity development of our coalition members. We are hoping to receive IT support for this project from an experienced e-learning advisor who is seconded by the German donor Bread for the World (BfW), so the volunteer would work closely with the NGO-CEDAW team and the seconded person to develop blended learning training modules. We are seeking an international volunteer as the expertise required for this assignment is not currently available in Cambodia. The volunteer will mentor the NGO-CEDAW team to review and consolidate existing training materials on Gender, CEDAW, and Safeguarding, conduct a training needs assessment with coalition members, and provide coaching to develop new modules to address identified gaps. They will also guide the team in deciding appropriate delivery methods (face-to-face, online, webinar, or video) and support the development of the online learning components of the curriculum.
