Asset and Liability Management Advisor

We’re looking for an Asset and Liability Management Advisor who can live and volunteer for 3 months in Tuvalu.

• As a volunteer, you will support the team to implement, and sustainably manage, the ALM framework.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as ALM specific experience, ideally in treasury management or financial risk management.
• Provide support with developing training and materials to ensure the team are successful in utilising the ALM framework.

About the partner organisation 

The Development Bank of Tuvalu was established as a bank to carry out general banking business in accordance with accepted international banking principals and practices. It's vision is to offer and deliver quality and sustainable business development support in Tuvalu. Their mission is to be the best partner in business development, renewable energy and climate change initiatives.

The bank needs the support of a volunteer to work with the team to design and develop a comprehensive ALM policy and framework to fit with DBT's needs. It is difficult to find a qualified individual in Tuvalu who has experience in developing such policies.
