Agroecology Mentor

Friends of Nature, People, and Forests (FNPF) is looking for a Agroecology Mentor who can volunteer in Kotawaringin Barat in Central Borneo, Indonesia for 6 months.

• This assignment seeks to support FNPF to enhance biodiversity through polyculture and agroforestry: promoting the adoption of polyculture and agroforestry practices to improve species diversity, habitat quality, and soil nutrient cycles sustainably.
• To be considered for this role, you’ll need a degree in agriculture and experience in plantation management technique.
• As a volunteer, you will conduct training sessions and workshops for FNPF Borneo staff and local communities on agroecological methods.

As a small but active nonprofit, FNPF focuses on grassroots issues and frontline conservation.
