We’re looking for an Advanced SALT Clinical Education Mentor - Paediatrics who can live and volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 2 months. 

 

  • This assignment seeks to provide Advanced SALT clinical education – Complicated cases of Paediatrics component (Life disabilities: Autism, cerebral palsy, multi-language) for year 4 SALT students - Clinical placement
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor or Master degree in speech pathology or speech and language therapy (or equivalent).
  • You will be working alongside Head of Science Management and International Cooperation Department, Head of Rehabilitation, and lecturers of Rehabilitation Department at HMTU.

Hai Duong Medical Technical University (HMTU) is a public organisation which is governed by the Ministry of Health. HMTU has the mission to train medical doctor, nurses, medical technicians (Rehabilitation, Medical Laboratory and Medical Imaging) for the health care system of Vietnam.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.

The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$ 1,996 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD$79 per month.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  
  • The Partner Organisation’s preference is for the remote segment of this role to be part-time (less than 25h per week)
