- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a degree or formal qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in organisational policy development and strategic planning.
- You will be working alongside key administrative staff to review existing administrative and HR policies, and support updates aligned with current organisational needs and compliance standards.
About the Partner Organisation
Eastern Highlands Family Voice (EHFV) is a community-based, non-governmental organisation operating in the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. Founded in the late 1990s, EHFV has been at the forefront of grassroots efforts to respond to gender-based violence (GBV), family and sexual violence (FSV), child protection, and the promotion of human rights.
EHFV works in both rural and urban areas, delivering counselling services, legal support, emergency referrals, and awareness campaigns. The organisation partners with local communities, government agencies, police, churches, and civil society groups to prevent violence, support survivors, and advocate for lasting policy change. Its work centres around women, children, and vulnerable populations who are most at risk.
This assignment seeks the support of a skilled volunteer with expertise in administration and HR to review and update EHFV’s existing policies and constitution, develop a five-year strategic plan (2026–2031), and mentor administrative staff. Due to limited local access to experienced professionals in strategic planning and HR systems, and the financial constraints of a grassroots organisation, this assignment cannot be filled locally.
