We’re looking for an Accounting and Inventory Management Mentor who can live and volunteer in Kiribati for 12 months.

  • You will be working to capacity build staff in inventory management including skill in stock control, stocktake and purchasing.
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need extensive work experience with MYOB inventory control processes and have done training in this program.
  • As a volunteer, you will build on previous support with MYOB and assist with the successful production of EOFY reports.

About the Partner Organisation

Kiribati Green Energy Solutions (KGES), based in Tarawa, is one of 13 state owned enterprises (SOEs) within Kiribati. It has two main functions: the provision of affordable green energy products (including installation and maintenance) for all Kiribati; and the provision of electricity and potable water to the outer islands.

The organization was supported by a previous volunteer to aid in the implementation and training for MYOB accounting software. They wish to ensure the sustainability of this training and are looking for a second volunteer to assist with EOFY reporting requirements. They hope to set up an MYOB inventory management system and capacity build staff through mentoring and training.
