We’re looking for an Academic Mentor Business & Management who can live and volunteer in Vietnam for 2.5 months.

  • This assignment seeks to enhance teaching quality and applied learning approaches across business-related programs
  • To be considered for this role, you’ll need a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism Management, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in teaching and/or research in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism Management, or a related discipline.
  • As a volunteer, you will support to strengthen academic and professional capacity through knowledge sharing and skill development

About the partner organisation 

Vietnam Women’s Academy is a public higher education institution headquartered in Hanoi, with an additional campus in Ho Chi Minh City, operating nationwide in education, research, and capacity development. The Academy delivers multidisciplinary education and training programs in areas such as psychology, social work, law, business, and communication, while also promoting applied research, policy dialogue, and community engagement activities. VWA is committed to advancing gender equality, strengthening human capital, and contributing to inclusive social development in Vietnam. This assignment is important to Vietnam Women’s Academy as it supports the continued development of multidisciplinary programs within the Faculty of Business Administration, including Business Administration (Vietnamese and English-taught programs) across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels), Marketing, and Tourism and Travel Management. These programs aim to equip students with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and adaptability to meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic and globalised economy. In line with the Academy’s mission, the assignment also contributes to enhancing opportunities for female students to participate and advance in business, management, and entrepreneurial fields.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV). 
  • A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.  
  • A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.  

Additional requirements for this assignment include First Aid Certificate.
