Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta (UIN Jakarta) is looking for an Academic English Language Mentor who can live and volunteer for 6 months in Jakarta, Indonesia.
- This assignment seeks to focus on academic writing mentoring, manuscript development support, and knowledge sharing on international publishing standards and peer review processes.
- To be considered for this role, you’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in either English, Linguistics, Education, Communications, or a related field. You will also need a recognized English teaching certification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or TEFL).
- The volunteer will work collaboratively with faculty members to support the development and refinement of academic manuscripts intended for publication in international journals.

Requirements
- All applicants must be Australian citizens or holders of Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa (SCV).
- A National Police Check must be completed during the application process.
- A Psychological Test is required for all volunteer assignments.
