Papua New Guinea Education Initiative

An exciting opportunity for Australian educators to have a lasting impact on education in Papua New Guinea

Volunteer with your education peers

The PNGAus Partnership Secondary Schools initiative (PAPSSi) is a new secondary education initiative delivered in partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea to continue the enduring friendship between the two countries.

PAPSSi has partnered 12 high performing Papua New Guinea secondary schools with 12 Australian secondary schools to support capacity building and share best practice in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), English language, youth empowerment and inclusive education.

We are looking for a cohort of Australian teachers and education policy experts to fill volunteer assignment roles across Papua New Guinea. All assignments offer flexible durations of 3 to 12 months, and are available in multiple locations.

Whether you're retired or considering a change, this is a unique opportunity to enlist your education friends and colleagues and embark on a life-changing experience together.
