Recognising the value of your experience as a volunteer, a number of Australian Volunteers Program supported places are available to participants of these three exciting RAVN initiatives.
Finalists to the RAVN Go Back <> Give Back Competition
Eight returned volunteer finalists and their partner organisation representatives will be supported to attend the conference and pitch their project ideas to a live audience – entries close 10 December 2019. Support packages for finalists will include a two-day conference pass, including most meals and the celebration dinner, return airfares to Melbourne from your closest airport, two nights of accommodation at Rydges Swanson Street and most transfers.
RAVN Peer Mentoring
RAVN Peer Mentoring is the long-awaited mentoring program for the Australian Volunteers Program where returned volunteers mentor new volunteers while preparing for and on assignment. Thirty returned volunteer mentors will be recruited and supported to attend a mentor training workshop in Melbourne on Wednesday 26 March and attend the conference on 27-28 March. Support packages for mentors will include the mentor training workshop, a two-day conference pass, including most meals and the celebration dinner, return airfares to Melbourne from your closest airport, three nights of accommodation at Rydges Swanson Street and most transfers. RAVN panelists, speakers and presenters
A number of returned volunteers have been invited to enhance the conference program as panelists, guest speakers and workshop presenters. These places are by invitation from the Australian Volunteers Program and DFAT only.
