About the Partner Organisation

The Academy of Journalism and Communication (belonging to the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) was established on 16th January 1962. With 60 years of development, the Academy has transformed itself from a small college to the leading higher education institution for journalism and communication in Vietnam. Currently, the Academy of Journalism and Communication is focused on enhancing the quality of education through curriculum updates, practical training, and collaboration with media partners. Looking ahead, our goals include expanding international cooperation, embracing digital transformation in media education, and becoming a leading institution in Southeast Asia for journalism and communication studies. This assignment aims to enhance the English language proficiency of students at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, with a focus on media-specific contexts. It is designed to help students develop specialized vocabulary and practical communication skills relevant to journalism. Through targeted training activities, students will practice writing news articles, conducting interviews, analyzing media content, and presenting news reports in both spoken and written English. The assignment plays a crucial role in preparing future journalists to operate effectively in an increasingly global and English-dominant media environment. It will empower students to engage with international news, access broader career opportunities, and contribute confidently to global media.
