Proposal Writing & Fundraising
Many volunteers will find themselves in under-resourced
organisations in need of funding, or will need to find funding for
their projects. It is useful to consider fundraising strategies and
appropriate grants, before launching into laborious funding
proposals.
Volunteer Anton Clark has contributed his tips for writing
proposals based on his experiences in the field in Indonesia. Since
taking up the role as marketing adviser at Yayasan Pekerti in
Jakarta in 2005, Anton has helped source almost half a million
dollars in funding and launch several projects.
