Media, communications, and art & design volunteers work in partnership with local counterparts and agencies to mutually enhance skills and knowledge.
You may find yourself helping to influence public debate or playing a major role in making global and local issues accessible to disenfranchised audiences. Volunteers also help connect organisations to stakeholders to ensure free access to information.
Occasionally, organisations request volunteers experienced in textiles, crafts, and other arts. Positions do vary substantially, but all have a common goal of strengthening the capacity of the local community and / or enhancing business opportunities.

Every three months, AVI advertises a large group of Australian Volunteer program assignments, with requests for volunteers from many different professions.
