All volunteer opportunities respond to our international partner needs, or in other words, we only develop volunteer opportunities if they have been requested by our overseas partners.

It important to note that there's a large demand for international legal volunteer assignments throughout the Australian legal community. Currently legal assignments are limited, however with the introduction and support of Lawyers Beyond Borders, we aim to work with our overseas partners to identify new initiatives and project opportunities. This will allow Australia's legal professionals to work with their communities on locally-identified projects.

Current roles available

Every three months, AVI advertises a large group of Australian Volunteer program assignments, with requests for volunteers from many different professions.
