Macquarie AVI Partnership
Macquarie
University provides the university's students and staff
opportunities to participate in community projects in Australia and
overseas, via a partnership with AVI.
The project integrates community participation activities
throughout Macquarie's academic and co-curricular programs.
AVI has been crucial in applying a development approach to the
projects and assisting with risk management, volunteer orientation
and monitoring and evaluation.
The Macquarie / AVI partnership is based on participation,
mutual learning and taking an inclusive approach to learning and
development.
