Australian Partner Organisations
Some AVID assignments are supported by Australian organisations.
Australian Partner Organisations (APOs) provide support to assignments in various ways, which may include:
- promoting the assignment among their networks,
- contributing toward the cost of an assignment,
- providing technical advice to a volunteer during his or her assignment.
APOs usually have close relationships with Host Organisations (HOs) and work in partnership with AVI to develop the capacity of HOs over time.
