White Ribbon Alliance Safe Motherhood for All

To complement our work in maternal and child health around the globe, AVI is an active supporter of the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood for All.

AVI CEO Dimity Fifer was recently announced the President of the Australian White Ribbon Alliance. This arm of WRA joins another 148 countries - a coalition that is brought together by a common goal:

To ensure that pregnancy and childbirth are safe for all women and newborns in every country around the world.

Human Rights Arts and Film Festival

Since 2007 AVI has supported the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival (HRAFF). The only festival of its kind, HRAFF screens film and displays art that addresses issues of poverty, gender, children's rights and human rights.
