Volunteer Stories heads to Noosa

Australian Volunteers International (AVI) will host Volunteer Stories, an evening of storytelling at The J Noosa, 22 August, where three returned Australian volunteers will share the triumphs and tribulations of their overseas adventures working in community development.

Capturing the traditional art of storytelling, the event will see local Sunshine Coast community members Geoff Black share his volunteer experience as a Community Development Worker at Fiji’s Lekutu Community Centre, Dr Mary Dorling will talk about teaching English at Tien Giang University in Vietnam and Kate Thynne will highlight her experience as a Capacity Building Facilitator for the Thailand Burma Border Consortium.
