Tiny Toones calls for support for Australian tour

AVI Cambodian partner organisation Tiny Toones is seeking support from Australian communities and organisations to help make its 2012 hip hop tour in Australia a reality.

The tour, consisting of 10 of Tiny Toones' best hip hop artists, aims to raise long term funding streams and awareness for the organisation in Australia, which works with thousands of Cambodian disadvantaged youth and street kids through education and creative arts programs.

AVI has had the opportunity to work with Tiny Toones through the work of Australian Volunteer Romi Grossberg, who is helping organise the tour.

She said as part of the initial fundraising effort Tiny Toones needs to raise $10,000 to fund the tour.

The tour, Romi said, will be a valuable event to connect with well known Melbourne hip hop groups, like-minded organisations and the Cambodian communities to raise much-needed funds to ensure the sustainability of this amazing organisation.

The tour will take place in Melbourne in 2012 at Chapel off Chapel in Prahran. Keep an eye out on AVI's event calendar in 2012 for tour dates.
