Thousands to live below the line this May
06 April 2011
From 16-20 May this year, thousands of Australians will take the
Live Below the Line challenge - feeding themselves with just $2 a
day.
Live Below the Live enables Australians to get a better
understanding of the challenges faced by the 1.4 billion people who
live in extreme poverty.
For five days, businessmen, students, parents and community
leaders will unite, using their daily experiences to bring extreme
poverty to the centre of conversations in homes around
Australia.
Their life-changing experience will raise crucial funds for the
work of the Global Poverty Project and Oaktree Foundation -
creating change for those who need it most.
