The GPP goes grassroots
26 August 2010
...and it's coming to you, writes former AVI / VSO volunteer
d'Arcy Lunn.
As a returned AVI/VSO volunteer I know how frustrating and
difficult it can be to put your experiences in context and formally
inspire others. The Global Poverty Project can offer you an outlet
to do this.
Our 1.4 Billion Reasons presentation has two major
aims:
- to educate and inspire others to take action to end extreme
poverty, and importantly;
- equip and link these people with the organisations,
initiatives, resources and people already creating change and
making a difference.
You can get personally get involved in this process:
- Become a GPP presenter yourself - do the
training, learn the presentation, use your experiences and ignite
your community into action while making a real difference to people
in developing countries from your own state.

for more information.
- Link us with an initiative, program,
organisation or resource making a difference locally/globally that
you know or work with to connect with the people we educate and
inspire.

There are now trained GPP presenters around Australia to deliver a
presentation in your local community.
