Short-term volunteering opportunities in Kakadu

If you are passionate about improving the education of Indigenous children in Australia, Youth Challenge Australia (YCA) is seeking volunteers to tutor at the Jabiru Area School, inside the magnificent Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory.
The school at Jabiru has requested volunteers to work with its students to improve education and learning outcomes during each school term.
Applications are currently open for term four, 2011, and terms one and two, 2012.
Volunteers will live in the community for ten weeks and make a much-needed contribution to the long-term educational goals of the school.
YCA is also seeking volunteers interested in ten-week programs running from December in Guyana, Costa Rica and Vanuatu.
