Volunteer opportunities with the Global Health Gateway
The Global Health Gateway (GHG) is Australia's online network for people interested in working, studying or volunteering in Global Health.
GHG aims to equip and inspire health workers to stay connected with global health throughout their careers, with a particular focus on accessing vocational, volunteer and training pathways.
This volunteer-run orgnisation is looking for skilled professionals to join and contribute to the team. They are currently seeking:
- Writers, editors and reviewers to produce and edit content
- Web designers, coders and administrators
- Health professionals to join as liaison experts for their field including
Pharmacists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, Dentists and Optometrists
- Health students to help create student-focused content
- Graphic Designers, Multimedia designers, Film Makers and Videographers
The opportunities are open to anybody with the requisite skills, regardless of location, profession or age. Commitments range from small projects to leadership roles with the organisation.
