Bloodshot, the dreams and nightmares of East Timor

The Sun Theatre, based in Yarraville, Melbourne, Australia, invites you to an exclusive premiere screening of Bloodshot: The Dreams and Nightmares of East Timor, a documentary by Peter A Gordon on Wednesday, 10 October 2012 at 7pm.

This moving film, documenting East Timor's path to independence in 1999, re-visits the 1975 Indonesian invasion, the 1991 Santa Cruz massacre and the story of 22-year-old Kirsty Sword, an Australian woman who fell in love and married the guerilla leader Xanana Gusmao.

Costs $25 and all proceeds go to The Sun Theatre's Cinema Loro Sa'e, an outdoor cinema program that travels throughout Timor Leste.
