• Beautiful East New Britain awaits!
• Mix of clinical and training requirements
Keravat Rural Hospital replaced the old Keravat Health Centre in 2007. Facilities have been upgraded for it to function as a district level hospital, which sits in an administrative area that includes 9 health centres and 7 aid posts.
Despite being located in the beautiful and safe and secure location of East New Britain, it has proved to be very challenging to recruit experienced clinical staff to work in Kerevat.
This role offers the opportunity to join the hospital team in a varied role that mixes clinical and mentoring requirements.
To be considered for this assignment, you will be able to demonstrate a general medicine background and have some knowledge of tropical medicine. Central to this assignment will be the ability to function in a resource poor environment.
