Public Relations and Marketing - Kalahari Conservation Society
Utilise your Public Relations and Marketing skills and play a vital role in linking the Kalahari Conservation Society with the public, corporate world and sponsors.
The Kalahari Conservation Society (KCS) is an NGO based in Botswana who are dedicated to promoting conservation of the natural environment of Botswana, conduct research into flora and fauna and its management, conservation along with carrying out education in conservation of natural environment.
The KCS requires the services of a skilled PR and Marketing professional who can help drive the mandate of the public relations and marketing office and take the Society to higher levels. This would ideally provide the KCS with a greater visibility to the outside world and subsequently increasing membership numbers.
To be considered for this highly rewarding role, you would need the following:
- Demonstrated ability in PR & Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Some skills in graphic design
- Fundraising experience
- Previous experience in events organising
- Advocacy and lobbying
The successful candidate would also be required to coach and mentor existing staff members at KCS. The host organisation will provide secure accommodation for the volunteer for the duration of the assignment in Botswana.
